SARAH CANNON RESEARCH INSTITUTE TO CONDUCT CLINICAL TRIALS IN THE U.K.
SCRI’s first Phase I cancer trial program outside of U.S.
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is proud to announce the launch of Sarah Cannon Research UK, a cancer drug development program in the United Kingdom for private patients. With a focus on Phase I trials, Sarah Cannon Research UK is SCRI’s first research program for clinical trials outside the United States. U.K. cancer patients will have access to Phase I clinical trials previously available only through the country’s national health system.
The first patient is expected to be enrolled on trial in Summer 2010. The freestanding treatment clinic is located at 93 Harley Street, a renovated historical building in the heart of London’s health care community. The 13,000-square foot complex has 12 treatment chairs in the testing area. The Care Quality Commission accredited the facility in May.
