SARAH CANNON RESEARCH INSTITUTE (SCRI) – BRINGING OUR REPUTATION IN RESEARCH EXCELLENCE TO THERAPEUTIC AREAS OUTSIDE OF ONCOLOGY

Through a national network of physicians, SCRI conducts clinical trials in ten therapeutic areas outside of oncology including cardiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, allergy and ENT.

History

The expansion into new therapeutic areas occurred following a merger in November 2005 with Summit Research Solutions (SRS) in Memphis, TN. For over ten years SRS was a national non-oncology clinical trials management company with a reputation built on experience and a strict dedication to the highest quality standards in research.

Research Excellence

SCRI is setting the standard for effectively managed, reliable clinical research trials and has a growing network of nationally recognized clinical trial management programs in association with physician practices. Our comprehensive non-oncology research program is designed to provide state-of-the-art, innovative approaches and facilitate a wide spectrum of comprehensive and cost-effective services rarely found in today’s management of clinical trials.

Technology

Our unique systematic approach provides higher efficiencies and reduced cycle times for research trial completion. SCRI also uses an expert web-based proprietary database, xMinder®, which represents extraordinary opportunities in the systematic management of multi-site clinical trials.

Services

SCRI specializes in clinical research services for physician groups, including program development, clinical trial pipeline development, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, contracts and budgets, site management, patient recruitment and marketing support. By integrating these capabilities into our organization, SCRI is able to effectively manage the growing demand for support in managing clinical trials.

Quality and Expertise

A solid operational infrastructure, experienced management team and sound strategic vision have well positioned SCRI to provide all of its partners—physicians and pharmaceutical companies—an optimal way to conduct quality, outcome-based clinical trials.
